violence and take the Veto Violence Pledge.
Today, I pledge to love myself, my family, and
my community. I will make a choice to stand up
against the violence, drugs, and diseases that are
plaguing my neighborhood. I will not participate in
criminal behavior. I will not give in to peer pressure
that stands to demean my character and destroy my
future. I will prove to the world that today's
generation is not lost, and that by making wise
decisions, I can grow into the truly remarkable
human being I have been created to be.
